About nD Insight
nD Insight provides analytical strategy services to primarily commercial, and occasionally public sector, clients. The company helps clients solve challenging corporate strategy problems, realize operational improvements and deliver results.
The majority of nD's work is in the health and life sciences spaces, with additional go-to-market approaches in the industrial, communications and marketing sectors.
Amongst the company's health and life sciences clients are many global leaders in pharmaceuticals, labs, medical technologies, etc. We also engage with public sector and not-for-profit organizations, striving to make the world a better place, when unique opportunities arise to make a real difference.
nD distinguishes itself in three key ways:
- Rigorous and robust work: clients may literally take findings to their banks/lenders/investors or make game-changing decisions based upon our recommendations
- 'Bespoke' work: unlike other consultancies, every engagement is designed and implemented 'from scratch' resulting in a success rate of over 90%, among the highest in the management consulting industry
- Incredible people, both from intellect and experience perspectives.
Work at nD tends to be of three major types:
- Problem-based strategy: breaking down a problem faced by a client into constituent elements and then re-building components from the ground up
- Corporate development: looking at opportunities for clients to expand, contract, restructure, partner, etc.
- Analytics: surveying the market (primary or secondary research), developing the overreaching view and then driving down into micro-segments, based on the goals/interests of a client to aid them in understanding the market and forming a point of view
While nD services large clients, we have chosen to keep a small team. Our highly selective recruiting process is guided by the philosophy that a chain is only as strong as its weakest link. It is this commitment to excellence that yields the positive results that drive the business.
Our small team needs to grow, as we continue to be fortunate to have significant demand for our services. We pride ourselves on putting client goals first, on being creative and nimble, and in bringing clarity, through hard numbers, to ambiguous situations.
We need to grow with folks who are commercial-grade, smart, logically/mathematically-oriented, and driven to help clients achieve their goals above all else. We are looking for people with intellectual curiosity, the capacity to learn new things quickly, and ability to develop new skills as needed in a dynamic and fast-paced environments. We are open to candidates with all academic backgrounds but candidates familiar with health care/life sciences, either professionally or academically, will be prioritized. Our consultants are typically graduate school-trained, have worked with the best and brightest in their fields, have bounced around the world, and are frequently told that they're "the smartest person in the room".
If you wish you could be 'paid to learn', are longing to work with ultra-high-quality colleagues, and know that Internet searches are not research, feelings are not outcomes and hope is not a plan, please take the time to apply and we would love to get to know you.
